After more than half a century of history, the iconic Tokyo and Jamaica clubs are heading south for the first time. Having set the rhythm of Rua Nova do Carvalho for many years and, since 2022, found a new home at Cais do Gás, they're now making a leap to the Algarve. This isn't just any move—it's a residency at Le Club, the dining and entertainment space within the luxury complex Grande Real Santa Eulália in Albufeira.

Their debut is this Thursday, with the season running until August 23rd. It's Le Club feat. Tokyo and Jamaica, combining over a century of nightlife history. Fernando Pereira, the leader of both clubs, calls this move "symbolic and exciting," marking their first such residency. "This summer, the Algarve will be a little bit ours," he says, while operations in Lisbon continue as usual.

DJ Bruno Dias will helm the decks from 11 PM to 2 AM, bringing the unique vibes of Tokyo and Jamaica to the Algarve nights. Expect classic rock, reggae, Afrobeats, dancehall, Reggaeton, hip-hop, and R&B—a mix that spans generations. Special guests include Don Andre (July 26-31 and August 10-22) and Camboja Selecta (August 1-9).

The season finale on August 23rd promises a special Xuxuzinhos Party, featuring a DJ battle between Fernando Alvim and entrepreneur Rui Paiva.

Le Club offers three distinct spaces: a seaside terrace, an indoor room with views, and a lounge area. Its restaurant focuses on sushi and premium meats, including Uruguayan tornedĂł, Argentine picanha, and tomahawks for two, serving dinners until 11:30 PM.

As a bar-club with Tokyo+Jamaica, Le Club stays open until 5 AM until August 23, then until 3 AM until September 13. More details are available on their official website and social media.
