Between Tróia and Melides, beachgoers face restricted access to some of Portugal's most beautiful coastal spots. A recent report highlights that eight beaches have conditional access, two have controlled access, and one is completely off-limits. This situation arises due to the development of residential projects near these pristine locations.

The balance between tourism, conservation, and private interests is becoming increasingly delicate in these areas.
