Lisbon is set to welcome the 'Storytelling' exhibition, a remarkable collection by Scottish photographer David Yarrow, marking his debut in Portugal. This free pop-up exhibition, organized by the Algarve-based art gallery In The Pink, will be available from May 22 to June 1 at their temporary space in Lisbon.
David Yarrow, renowned globally for his captivating visual narratives, presents 15 of his most emblematic works. His portfolio spans various genres, including advertising campaigns, fashion editorials, sports moments, and wildlife photography, all captured in both color and black and white.
Highlights include:
- "1992", a recreation of Cindy Crawford's iconic Pepsi ad.
- "Bad Asses", featuring Cara Delevingne with a cheetah in the Namibian desert.
Yarrow's career took off in 1986 when he photographed Diego Maradona lifting the World Cup trophy. Since then, he has worked with numerous celebrities, using his art to support environmental conservation and pediatric cancer research, raising over €13 million for philanthropic causes.
The exhibition also previews his upcoming book, 'David Yarrow The Collection', with a foreword by Robert Redford, offering a journey through his career's most memorable moments.
Visit the exhibition at In The Pink's temporary space, Rua Santo António à Estrela, 74, Lisbon, daily from 10:00 to 18:00.
