Lisbon Welcomes the New Olive Oil Festival

The 3rd New Olive Oil Festival is set to boost national gastronomy and tourism with a vibrant celebration of New Olive Oil, bringing together various producers, a renowned chef, workshops, a market, exhibition and sales stands, a cooking show, music, and plenty of entertainment.
Lisbon is preparing to host the New Olive Oil Festival for the first time, a unique celebration of flavor, tradition, and Mediterranean culture organized annually by CEPAAL – Center for Studies and Promotion of Alentejo Olive Oil. On December 11, the iconic Casa do Alentejo will transform into a meeting point for enthusiasts of gastronomy, lifestyle, and well-being, offering a day dedicated to olive oil—the "liquid gold" of the Mediterranean diet.
The festival, now in its 3rd edition, aims to highlight the role of olive oil in healthy eating, gourmet cuisine, and the promotion of the Mediterranean lifestyle, which is globally recognized for its positive health impacts. It will also be a unique opportunity to meet producers and brands that represent the excellence of Portuguese olive oil. The event is supported by Alentejo Tourism – ERT, Casa do Alentejo, and the Lisboa Pessoa Hotel.
