After dedicating models to cities like Saint-Denis, Brixton, Berlin, Marseille, and Naples, Nike and Foot Locker have now launched a special edition inspired by Lisbon. The design of the new sneakers celebrates the unique culture and aesthetics of the Portuguese capital.
Lisbon is the latest European city to join this series that values diverse communities across the continent.
The Nike Air Max TN, first released in 1998 and exclusive to Foot Locker, have become a true icon in Lisbon. To mark this connection, the special edition Air Max TN Lisboa incorporates elements that reflect the local identity.
The model stands out with patterns that evoke traditional Portuguese azulejos and calçada portuguesa, which is even represented on the shoe's sole. The Nike logo on the tongue draws inspiration from historical motifs of the city, while the name "Lisboa" appears on the laces.
For the launch, Foot Locker developed a campaign featuring several Portuguese talents who symbolize the blend of tradition and modernity in Lisbon, including local artists and athletes.
The collaboration with local creators strengthens the brand's connection to communities and highlights Portuguese culture at the heart of this special edition.
The project honors the spirit of Lisbon's residents, bridging past and future and promoting the city's cultural creators.
The Nike Air Max TN Lisboa were released on October 9 and are available in Foot Locker stores in Portugal and Europe, priced at 199.99 euros.
