David Yarrow, a renowned Scottish photographer, is bringing his captivating exhibition, "Storytelling", to Lisbon. The exhibition, which opens on May 22, will be available for just over a week, offering a unique glimpse into Yarrow's diverse portfolio that spans from remote wildlife to iconic figures like Cindy Crawford.
A Journey Through Yarrow's Lens
Yarrow's work is a blend of fashion, advertising, and wildlife photography, showcasing his ability to tell compelling stories through his lens. Among the highlights is a recreation of the 1992 Pepsi advertisement featuring Cindy Crawford, a testament to Yarrow's versatility and creativity.
From Wildlife to Wall Street
Yarrow's fascination with wildlife has taken him to some of the most remote corners of the world. His dedication to capturing the perfect shot is legendary, including the time he flew a wolf first-class to photograph it on Wall Street. This eccentric act resulted in a signed print by Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese, which sold for $200,000 in 2019.
Philanthropy and Photography
Beyond his artistic achievements, Yarrow is also a committed philanthropist. Throughout his career, he has raised $15 million for wildlife conservation and social causes, including cancer treatment for children. In 2023, he established the David Yarrow Family Foundation to further his charitable work.
