The Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport in Madeira is once again facing disruptions due to strong winds.
At the moment, a Ryanair flight from Lisbon has been diverted, and two other flights are circling, searching for an opportunity to land in Santa Cruz.
The maximum wind gust recorded at the Santa Catarina weather station was 75 km/h at 10 am.
Madeira Airports had already warned passengers about the adverse weather conditions, advising everyone to confirm their flight status before heading to the airport.
