The 2nd edition of Lisboa Wine Summer Moments is now underway at Campo das Cebolas, showcasing over 30 producers and 100 wines from the Lisbon region. Supported by the Lisbon City Council, this event is a celebration of local viticulture, gastronomy, and indigenous products.
Under a partnership between the Municipality of Lisbon and the Lisbon Wine Region Commission, the capital hosts this annual festival to promote regional wines, their producers, and local culinary delights. The Lisbon Wine Region encompasses 26 municipalities, including Amadora, Alcobaça, and Sintra, among others.
In 2020, the region produced approximately 65 million certified bottles, with over 80% exported to a hundred countries. Visitors can taste renowned wines such as Colares, Bucelas, and Carcavelos at the festival, running until August 3, or year-round at the Lisbon Wine Shop in Mercado da Ribeira.
