The iconic Portuguese festival is undergoing a complete transformation, shifting from a traditional three-day event to a new annual format of immersive concerts. According to promoter Live Nation, this change represents the future of live performances.

The Super Bock Super Rock festival will no longer be held over three consecutive days, making way for a new format featuring multiple 'major' concerts throughout the year. The first artist has been announced: The Weeknd, who will perform at Estádio do Restelo on September 5, 2026, as part of his "After Hours til Dawn Tour". Playboi Carti will be the special guest.
Live Nation, now the promoter of this iconic Portuguese festival, states that the new format is more aligned with the future of live music in Portugal and will bring a series of large-scale concerts to the country year-round, headlined by global artists.
