The Sir Eltom John concert is set to light up the Tivoli BBVA Theatre on Avenida da Liberdade this coming Saturday, June 28th, promising a vibrant journey through the career of one of pop music's greatest legends.
Headlined by Tom Cridland, the show is a no-playback, faithful recreation of Elton John's biggest hits, including "Rocket Man", "Tiny Dancer", "Your Song", "Crocodile Rock", and "I’m Still Standing". The setlist also features some surprises with less obvious tracks that will delight fans.
More than just a concert, Sir Eltom John offers a visual and emotional experience. From the wardrobe inspired by Elton John's original looks to Cridland's energetic piano performance, every detail is meticulously planned to capture the spirit of the British artist, complete with humor, irreverence, and plenty of sparkle.
With an international tour that has graced legendary venues like Carnegie Hall in New York and the Troubadour in Los Angeles (where he shared the stage with Nigel Olsson, Elton John's longtime drummer), Tom Cridland, who has Portuguese roots, holds childhood memories spent in Estoril.
The artist has expressed that returning to Portugal is always special. "Portugal is my favorite place in the world," said the musician, who shares a deep emotional connection with the country where he spent much of his youth.
Tickets for the show are now on sale, priced between €15 and €28. Doors open at 8 PM, with the concert starting at 9 PM.
