The Judicial Police (PJ) arrested three men this Tuesday, aged between 21 and 48, on suspicion of drug trafficking in Lisbon. The suspects, caught "in the act", were allegedly involved in a coordinated effort to prepare and supply various drug distribution points across the Portuguese capital.
In the operation dubbed "Louro", five searches were conducted leading to the seizure of significant quantities of heroin, cocaine, and hashish. Additionally, authorities confiscated three vehicles, several mobile phones, ammunition, thousands of euros in cash, a money counting machine, precision scales, and other items commonly used in drug trafficking.
All three detainees, who have criminal records, are set to face their first interrogation for the application of coercive measures. The investigation, which began in 2024, is being handled by the Lisbon Department of Investigation and Penal Action.
