Woman Dies After Being Run Over by Her Own Vehicle in Lisbon
A 40-year-old woman lost her life this Saturday in a tragic accident on Rua Mariano Pina in Lisbon. The incident occurred around 1:58 PM, prompting an immediate emergency response.
Details of the Fatal Incident
According to information gathered by CM, the woman was fatally struck by her own car, which was reportedly either poorly parked or had some mechanical issue. The investigation suggests she had exited the vehicle but left it insufficiently secured.
As the car began to roll downhill, the woman positioned herself behind it in an attempt to stop the movement. Tragically, this led to her being run over and killed at the scene.
Emergency Response
Six firefighters from the Lisbon Fire Regiment were dispatched to the location, supported by one emergency vehicle. Additional assistance was provided by INEM (National Institute of Medical Emergency) and PSP (Public Security Police).
The death was confirmed at the scene, and authorities continue to investigate the exact circumstances surrounding this unfortunate accident.
