Rising Road Fatalities Over the Holiday Season
The preliminary number of road fatalities in Portugal has seen a significant 13% increase during the Christmas and New Year period this year. According to calculations made by Jornal de Notícias, with data from GNR and PSP, the fatalities rose from 22 last year to 25 this year.
