Even if you haven't consumed alcohol, fatigue from New Year's celebrations can impair your cognitive and motor skills. Make sure to rest before driving and take breaks on long journeys.

Send your New Year greetings before you start your drive. Using your mobile phone while driving reduces your attention and increases the risk of accidents, which is not only dangerous but also punishable by law.
