Rediscover Albufeira's Ancient Heart
Step into the 'Discovery of Albufeira's Old Town,' wandering through narrow alleys that evoke the city's Moorish past. Immerse yourself in the history, culture, and traditions of our ancestors, while filling your lungs with the scent of sea air and your eyes with one of the most breathtaking views over Albufeira Bay.
The municipality is relaunching the 'Discovery of Albufeira's Old Town' program, an initiative aimed at showcasing the built heritage of greatest tourist interest and, at the same time, revitalizing the city's old center during the low tourism season.

Guided by technicians from the municipality's Tourism Division, the tours are available in Portuguese and English. They resume on October 9 and continue until June 11 of next year.
