Workplace Accident Claims Two Lives in Lisbon
Two construction workers died on Monday at approximately 12:00 PM following a workplace accident near the University Stadium in Lisbon. The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation.
Details of the Incident
A PSP official confirmed to CM that the fatalities occurred inside a construction site operated by the company 'Gabriel Couto' on Rua Professor António Flores in Lisbon.
"The two workers were on the job. It is still unknown whether they fell or were struck by some structure," explained the same PSP source.
The deaths of the two men have been confirmed. As of 3:00 PM, the PSP was still awaiting the removal of the bodies.

Authorities are working to determine the exact cause of this tragic accident that has left the construction community in mourning.
