President to Hear Political Parties in Madeira
In a recent announcement on the Presidency of the Republic's website, it has been revealed that the President of the Republic will be meeting with the political parties represented in the Madeiran parliament on January 7. This follows the motion of censure that led to the collapse of the Regional Government.
The meetings will commence at 1 PM on Tuesday, January 7, in accordance with constitutional procedures, and will involve discussions with:
- PSD at 1 PM
- PS at 1:30 PM (notably announced to be heard on January 8)
- JPP at 2 PM
- Chega, CDS, Iniciativa Liberal, and PAN will follow with 30-minute intervals between each party.
These hearings are typically attended by the Representative of the Republic for Madeira.
