The 2nd edition of the Algarve Wine Session is set for October 17, 2025, at the Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa. This event brings together producers, experts, and wine lovers to celebrate the best of Algarve viticulture, highlighting the region's unique qualities and exclusive grape varieties like Negra Mole.
A major highlight this year is the opening to the general public, expanding beyond the Horeca channel. The program is packed with tastings, interactions with producers, a lecture, and masterclasses, all aimed at promoting Algarve wines and boosting the local economy through enotourism.
Event Schedule
- Opening Lecture (11:00 – 12:00): "Regenerative Roots: Innovation and Sustainability in Algarve Viticulture," featuring regional experts and producers.
- Free Tasting Session (14:00 – 19:45): Dozens of Algarve wines and regional products available for sampling.
- Thematic Masterclasses:
- Soul of the Algarve: Wines and Gastronomy (16:00) – Led by Executive Chef André Simões and sommelier Miguel Martins.
- Between Barrocal and Sea: The Wines of the Algarve (19:15) – Guided by wine expert Gilmar Brito.
