Irish Man Found Dead in Lisbon with Signs of Head Trauma
A 26-year-old Irish citizen was found dead on Wednesday on Costa Pimenta Street in the former Casal Ventoso area of Lisbon, with signs of having been assaulted on the head, according to an official PSP source confirmed to CM.
The body was discovered lying on the ground. Locals alerted the INEM (National Institute of Medical Emergency), and the CODU (Urgent Patient Orientation Center) notified the PSP at 08:50, as the young man showed signs of aggression, particularly to the head.
Given the possibility of a crime scenario, the PSP took charge of the incident, preserved the potential crime scene, and reported the findings to the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Judicial Police for further investigation.
