Weather Forecast for Madeira
The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) predicts that this Wednesday will feature generally very cloudy skies with showers, particularly more frequent on the north side and in the highlands. There is a possibility of snow at the highest points of the Madeira island until mid-morning.
Wind and Temperature Conditions
Winds are expected to be weak to moderate, ranging from 10 to 30 km/h, occasionally strong (up to 40 km/h) in the highlands and at the eastern and western extremes of Madeira. Temperatures are anticipated to range from a minimum of 15°C to a maximum of 19°C in Madeira, while Porto Santo will see temperatures between 13°C and 18°C.
Funchal Forecast
In Funchal, expect generally very cloudy skies with a chance of light rain. Winds will be weak (less than 15 km/h).
Sea Conditions
According to the IPMA, the sea state will feature waves from the north measuring 2.5 to 3 meters on the North Coast. The South Coast is expected to have waves from the south measuring 1 to 1.5 meters. The sea temperature will vary between 18 and 19°C.
