António Vitorino Steps Up as Campaign Manager for Alexandra Leitão in Lisbon

António Vitorino, the former socialist minister, has been appointed as the campaign manager for Alexandra Leitão, the PS parliamentary leader, in the Viver Lisboa coalition. This coalition is a result of an agreement between the PS, Livre, BE, and PAN parties, with the lists set to be submitted on the 11th.

Vitorino was initially the preferred candidate for the Presidency of the Republic by the leadership of Pedro Nuno Santos, with whom Leitão was the second in command. However, Vitorino declined a presidential candidacy, opting instead to support Leitão's campaign for the Lisbon City Council.
