Raimundo Cosme and the Upcoming Performance

As the artistic director of Plataforma285, alongside Cecília Henriques, Raimundo Cosme is deeply engaged in the new collective performance set to debut on January 29 at Teatro do Bairro Alto. The show, titled Crice Crice Baby, runs until February 1 and is described as a concert-performance that challenges the notion of resilience, stating: "It is not an ode to resilience. It is not a romanticization of resistance. It is not a call to perseverance. But it is also not a last stronghold."

Creative Process and Recommendations

As they approach the stage, these days are filled with rehearsals and idea experimentation, as Raimundo emphasizes that no two performances are ever the same. "We enjoy working with what we do not dominate. If the way of making performances ever becomes solid, I will retire. I am privileged to be in a place driven by curiosity and love," he shares.

In this creative process and due to his ongoing PhD, he has delved into two suggested books for this week, alongside other recommendations for both those who enjoy going out and those who prefer staying in.
