Unique Musical Experience in Lisbon
On Sunday, January 5th, head to Ajuda for an original program: enjoy a performance by Philip Glass on a historic pipe organ – the historic organ of the Parish Church of Nossa Senhora da Ajuda, commonly known as the Igreja da Boa Hora. This Iberian organ is believed to have been constructed in 1792 and was restored by organ builder António Simões in 1988, bringing it back to life. Cláudio de Pina has been the resident organist since 2013, conducting thorough research on this majestic instrument.
