Lisbon is set to host an exclusive culinary event on June 14 and 15, 2025, featuring Marsia Taha, the Latin America’s Best Female Chef 2024, and Alexandre Silva. The event, organized by the Matéria collective led by João Rodrigues, promises a unique gastronomic experience in the heart of Lisbon.

June 14 – Exclusive Dinner at FOGO

The highlight of the first evening is an exclusive dinner at FOGO, Alexandre Silva's restaurant. Joining him will be João Rodrigues and the international guest Marsia Mohamed Taha, chef at Ancestral in La Paz. Marsia will introduce a unique Bolivian cuisine blend, combining Amazonian and Andean influences with local Lisbon ingredients. The six-course menu comes with a wine pairing, priced at €250 per person.

June 15 – Gastronomic Festival at Largo do Corpo Santo

The celebration continues on June 15 with a contemporary festival at Largo do Corpo Santo, Cais do Sodré, honoring Santo António. The menu features modern interpretations of traditional Lisbon festival dishes, prepared by renowned Portuguese chefs including Alexandre Silva, Fernando Cardoso, Lívia Orofino, and others. The cost is €100 per person.

Local Producers and Artisans Visits

Over the two days, attendees can also visit local producers like Neptunpearl for oysters, Casa Agrícola Horácio Simões for wines, and Queijaria Ortodoxo for artisanal cheeses, among others.

About the Residency

Launched in 2023, the Residency has toured 12 Portuguese regions, promoting the connection between gastronomy and territory. The next stop is the Algarve in September 2025.
