The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts for today mostly clear or slightly cloudy skies, with periods of increased cloudiness along the Central region's coast until early morning. There's also a chance of morning fog or mist in some areas of the Central and Southern regions.
Winds will be light to moderate (up to 30 km/h), predominantly from the north, occasionally becoming strong (up to 40 km/h) along the western coastal strip, especially in the afternoon.
A slight increase in maximum temperatures is expected, except in the Algarve, where temperatures will range from 23ºC in Sagres to 29ºC in Faro. Across the rest of the mainland, highs will vary between 21ºC in Aveiro and 33ºC in Beja, with lows between 9ºC in Braga and Évora and 17ºC in Castelo Branco.
Regarding sea conditions, the Western Coast will experience northwest waves of 1.5 to 2.5 meters, with temperatures between 15/17ºC, while the South Coast will have waves under 1 meter, with temperatures around 18/19ºC.
