According to data from the SNS Portal, as of 2 PM, 44 urgent patients were waiting at the central emergency unit of the Fernando Fonseca Hospital, with an average wait of 12 hours and 15 minutes. In comparison, very urgent patients (orange wristbands) waited an average of 18 minutes, while less urgent patients (green wristbands) faced waits of 15 hours.

The Santa Maria Hospital reported that 5 urgent patients were waiting around 2 hours and 48 minutes, while very urgent patients waited 31 minutes and less urgent patients about 1 hour and 55 minutes.

In other hospitals like Cascais and Portimão, urgent patients were still waiting over 2 hours. For those with orange wristbands, wait times ranged from 30 to 50 minutes in these facilities.
