Tragic Incident in Carcavelos
A man tragically lost his life on Monday afternoon after being struck by a train on the Cascais Line, near the Carcavelos station. The accident occurred around 3:20 PM, prompting an emergency response that included 11 firefighters, as well as personnel from INEM (National Institute of Medical Emergency) and the PSP (Public Security Police).
As a result of this incident, train services have been suspended in the direction of Cascais-Lisbon since the time of the accident. The authorities are currently working to manage the situation and ensure safety for the public.
