Celebrating 15 Years of Creative Excellence
ETIC_Algarve kicked off its 15th-anniversary celebrations on October 18, ushering in a new era with the launch of its new website. This modern, youthful, and dynamic platform reflects the creative and technological energy that has defined the school since its inception in 2010.
A Journey of Growth and Innovation
Founded in 2010, ETIC_Algarve first opened its doors in Portimão, quickly becoming a success story as the first school south of the Tagus River to offer training in audiovisual and creative industries. Its rapid growth led to a move to Faro in 2014, where it settled in the Mercado Municipal de Faro, a space it still calls home today.
Over the past 15 years, the school has established itself as a benchmark in creative and technological education, achieving impressive results: more than 2,800 students have passed through its classrooms, and 93% of graduates are employed after completing their training. This success is rooted in its 'Learning by Doing' model, which emphasizes practical teaching and strong ties to the job market.
Expanding Horizons with International Opportunities
Since 2015, ETIC_Algarve has been a partner in the Erasmus+ program, securing 197 European mobility grants for students and staff. These opportunities provide enriching international experiences and foster professional and personal growth.
A New Digital Chapter
The new website is the first major initiative of the 15th-anniversary celebrations, symbolizing a cycle of renewal. Designed to be modern, intuitive, and fully mobile-friendly, it communicates in a youthful, creative, and approachable style that mirrors the spirit of the ETIC_Algarve community.
Collaboration with Kobu Agency
Development of the new site was entrusted to Kobu Agency, a creative agency from the Algarve that works with national and international brands to build strong identities and memorable digital experiences. This partnership strengthens a long-standing relationship, with Kobu team members serving as instructors at ETIC_Algarve and students completing internships at the agency, some of whom have joined Kobu's team permanently. This exemplifies the school's mission to bridge education and the job market, creating real synergies between learning and the creative industries.
Vision for the Future
Nuno Ribeiro, Director of ETIC_Algarve, emphasized, "We wanted a site that reflects who we are today: a school with 15 years of history but a youthful spirit and future energy. Choosing Kobu was natural and symbolic, representing our connection to regional creative firms and a partnership that has grown with us. Kobu brilliantly captured the essence of ETIC_Algarve and our authentic, creative way of communicating."
The website launch is just the beginning of the celebrations. In the coming weeks and months, ETIC_Algarve will unveil new initiatives and surprises to honor this milestone, aiming to inspire future talents and recognize the contributions of its community.
