Lisbon is set to host a unique treasure hunt experience with the arrival of King Colis, a French startup dedicated to fighting waste. The company is opening its first pop-up store in Greater Lisbon, offering lost parcels for sale by weight at attractive prices.
From May 20 to 25, visitors can explore the pop-up at Alegro Alfragide, open from 11:00 to 21:00. This follows a successful debut in Guimarães last month, where over 8,500 people purchased more than nine tons of lost parcels.
How does it work?
- Visitors have 10 minutes to select their parcels.
- Packages cannot be opened before purchase.
- Prices are €1.90 per 100g for Standard and €2.79 per 100g for Premium parcels.
This eco-responsible initiative not only reduces waste but also offers a fun and unpredictable shopping experience. Items inside can range from high-tech gadgets to designer clothes, making each purchase a surprise.
For those looking to skip the queue, a Fast Pass is available for €15, valid for one adult and optionally a child. More details can be found on their website.
