Shocking Incident at Gustave Eiffel Professional School
A 16-year-old student has been sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in prison for attempting to murder a fellow student by stabbing him twice in the neck. This violent act stemmed from a social media dispute between the two teens, highlighting the alarming trend of escalating violence among youth.
The confrontation initiated when a 17-year-old student made a provocative remark about the younger student's mother, accompanied by images shared on TikTok. After the exchange of insults, the 16-year-old left the school to purchase two kitchen knives, which he then used in the attack within the school premises.
The Supreme Court of Justice upheld the conviction and rejected the appeal for a lighter sentence under the special regime for young offenders, emphasizing that such violent behavior cannot be tolerated.
