Linkin Park is set to make a grand return to Portugal on June 21, 2026, headlining the Rock in Rio Lisboa festival at Parque Tejo. This marks their first performance in the country with a renewed lineup, featuring new members Colin Brittain on drums and Emily Armstrong as vocalist.
A New Chapter for Linkin Park
Following a hiatus after the tragic loss of Chester Bennington in 2017, the band officially made their comeback in 2024 with the release of "Papercuts", a career-spanning hits collection. Their latest album, "From Zero", released in late 2024, fuels their current international tour, their first in seven years.
European Tour Dates
Before their Portugal show, Linkin Park will kick off the European leg of their "From Zero World Tour" in Austria on June 12, with stops in France, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Belgium, UK, Netherlands, Italy, and Switzerland.
Rock in Rio Lisboa 2026
This 11th edition of the festival is scheduled for June 20, 21, 27, and 28, 2026, promising an enhanced experience with expanded public areas, more restrooms, dining options, and improved transport plans. Tickets go on sale starting June 6.
Linkin Park's History in Portugal
Linkin Park first performed in Portugal in September 2003 at Lisbon's Pavilhão Atlântico (now MEO Arena) and have since graced Portuguese stages multiple times, notably at Rock in Rio Lisboa in 2008, 2012, and 2014.
Festival Improvements
For 2026, the festival grounds will grow to 145,000 square meters, offering more space and comfort, alongside a 40% increase in restrooms and 30% more dining areas, ensuring a smoother experience for all attendees.
