The II Edition of the Algarve Wine Session, held on October 17, 2025, at the Hilton Vilamoura, was a resounding success, solidifying the region's role as a key wine producer and destination in Portugal.
Organized by the Algarve Wine Commission, the event brought together 25 producers and welcomed 110 visitors, including industry professionals, HORECA channel members, and the general public.
With a projected total of 1.7 million liters for the 2025/2026 harvest, the Algarve continues to establish itself as a growing and promising production area, renowned for the quality of its wines and the exclusivity of the Negra Mole grape variety. These wines are produced in harmony with the territory and sustainable practices, which are increasingly valued in the sector.

A highlight of this year's edition was the masterclasses led by sommelier Miguel Martins and expert Gilmar Brito. These sessions took participants on a sensory journey through Algarve wines and were widely praised for their quality and depth. In the morning, producers had the chance to attend a lecture on regenerative agriculture and sustainability.
